What is there beyond my vision? The Mermaid sought 

and sought through layers and layers of waterline 

but saw nothing, and her heart was tormented.

After the storm, the ship never returned, causing the Mermaid even greater distress. 

She no longer found interest in joining her sisters' relentless carol,

 how demeaning and senseless they all seemed to her.

The Mermaid was a curious child, always yearning for the world above 

and dreaming of the days she could take on her own ventures

Ecstasy on having my first sewing machine

      I was lucky enough to be offered a sewing machine by two of my most favourite people. I finally got one, delivered straight at my door. I am sorry C, but I will think of something else for you to give me on my birthday. And for my wonderful mom, thanks for your generosity.
